Remote Assistance to Submit a Provisional Patent: What We Help You Do
· 4 min read

A finished patent draft still needs a real filing. GetQuickPatent connects document preparation with coordinated remote assistance for eligible inventors who want help navigating USPTO Patent Center. The assistant helps with administrative steps; you remain responsible for the invention description, truthful answers and your authorized actions.
From your reviewed draft to Patent Center
Review the specification and every drawing first. Correct placeholders, check inventor details and verify that figure references agree with the images. In the assisted workflow, complete the compact filing intake and prepare current signed documents before requesting a session. The assistant can help fill forms and upload the reviewed files through a screen-sharing session that you authorize.
What stays in your hands
Use your own computer with Google Chrome. You sign in to your USPTO account privately, stay present, inspect entries and documents, and personally sign where legally permitted. Government fees are paid directly to the USPTO, separately from GetQuickPatent’s price. An assistant does not become your patent attorney, determine patentability or sign for you.
Who can use this workflow?
GetQuickPatent remote sessions are available with eligible Economy, Medium and Premium access after complete intake, confirmed U.S. residence, an ID.me-verified USPTO.gov account and current signed PDFs. These are this service’s access conditions, not a statement that all USPTO applicants must reside in the United States. Cases requiring a registered practitioner must resolve that requirement before signing.
Know the milestone
Preparing a PDF, requesting assistance or paying the platform is not filing. Check the official submission record. A provisional application is not examined and does not itself become a granted patent. GetQuickPatent supplies an SI-generated draft and administrative preparation, not legal advice or a guarantee. Start your draft, then use the filing guide to understand the next steps; timing depends on readiness and assistant availability.
